Lost Your Drupal Backend Credentials…Worry NOT!

If you have managed to lose your Drupal 7 backend login credentials and don’t have the email id configured, you are left with very little chances of recovering your credentials.
Wondering how that can happen, well our tribe of developers who are deep diving in the bits and bytes of the code end up forgetting this kind of minor (MINOR!!!) Stuff all the time.
Saying goodbye to all the good work done is not an option! So the solution is diligently following the tried and tested steps below:
Step 1: Users table holds the username of the drupal site. Find the username.

Step 2: Install https://www.drupal.org/node/594744
Step 3: Press Windows + R right cmd and enter
Step 4: Type D: <ENTER on command prompt
Step 5: Type cd xampp\htdocs\<Project Folder> <ENTER
Step 6: Type drushuli<ENTER
Step 7: Copy the url and replace default with localhost/Project Folder/...... and enter into the browser window
Step 8: You are now logged into your account
Step 9: Goto People <ENTER
Step 10: You should see the username click and edit and add new password

Vola you are all set :)

Clear flood table
Oh yeah! and while trying to remember the password, if you have exceeded the limit of 5 login attempts and see the message "Sorry, there have been more than 5 failed login attempts for this account. It is temporarily blocked.",
attempt the following:
go into your mysql
Type : 'delete from flood'
And you are on your way ..Try again and better luck this time. (Psst ..the flood table records username and ip which has failed login attempts)
